After spending a few days in Onslow, only to realise that there is nothing there..including fish...we headed back to Exmouth. Went fishing another day hoping to equal some fish from the previous week...but unfortunately did not catch any big ones, just a couple of small(but tasty) ones - can't complain.
We decided to leave the boat in Exmouth and headed north to Point Samson.
It is very nice here, the first few days were so windy, but the last few days have been not so bad. The temperature is great about 27-28 degrees. The beaches here are beautiful and the scenery was not at all what I expected.
Have done the touristy thing and gone to Dampier, Cossack, Wickham, Karratha... All nice. Karratha is a lot bigger than I had imagined and we have never seen so many 200 Series in one town!
Some photos below of what we have been up to:
Spotted Cod
Spinner Shark
Sunrise over Exmouth Gulf
Iron Ore Train as we drove into Karratha

Fabulous photos Claire and Chris. Hope you got to see the movie Red Dog ? The camera is proving a good buy. Mum xx
